DNB Bankas offers the Safe-Deposit Box service. Titles and other documents, jewelry, securities, insurance policies, spare keys of your apartment or car, rare postal stamps or coins, pieces of art, medals, curios and other important items or valuables can be kept in a safe-deposit box.
Advantages:
- Security. A rented safe-deposit box may be opened only by a person who rents it or by a person authorized by him/her. If you are willing to have access to your safe-deposit box, in each case you will have to present your personal identification document.
- Confidentiality. DNB Bankas employees keep all information about the customer and his/her transactions in secret.
- Privacy. The Bank offers a “viewing” room (privacy booth) where the customer can view the contents of the safe-deposit box or place new valuable items in privacy and safety.
- Simplicity. Renting of a safe-deposit box is very convenient. All you need is to sign a safe-deposit box rent agreement with DNB Bankas (your personal identification document is required).
Please note that it is strictly forbidden to keep explosives, chemicals, drugs, guns, foods, perishable or strong smelling materials, firearms, ammunition, etc. Only valuables owned by the customer can be stored in a safe-deposit box.
How to rent a safe-deposit box?
You will have to sign a safe-deposit box rent agreement at the branch or sub-branch of DNB Bankas and pay the applicable fee. The charge depends on the size of the safe-deposit box at the chosen branch or sub-branch of DNB Bankas and the rent period. You can sign an agreement for a period from 1 day to 1 year long (you will be required to present your passport or any other personal identification document). You can pay in cash, by transfer or through debiting a bank account.
