Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)
To become user of DNB Internet Banking you should address the nearest branch or sub-branch of the bank. Make sure you have a personal identification document (passport, personal identification card).
The user’s identification code (ID) is the combination of letters and/or numbers granted by the Bank which is used instead of the name, surname and personal number to identify the user in the system.
The user’s identification code is submitted in Annex 2 to the agreement on use of DNB Internet Banking (on the top of the table near the name, surname, personal number).
PIN code is a personal identification number. PIN table is a plastic card provided by the Bank with printed PIN codes. Each PIN code has its running number.
The initial password for connection is printed inside a special envelope. At first connecting to the system the user must change the password.
The password is changed periodically.
TAN code (transaction authorisation number) from TAN table must be entered for each transaction from the customer’s account. TAN table is a unique printed table provided by the Bank with indicated TAN near the running numbers. After the user enters the required TAN the latter becomes invalid and upon expiry of all valid TAN codes the bank issues a new TAN table. Alternative to TAN code table is password generator.
System blocks user if one or more of the three keys (PIN code from the plastic card; permanent password or TAN code) are entered incorrectly three times.
In case the customer forgets the permanent password the connection to DNB Internet Banking is activated upon arrival to the Customer Service Branches and Sub-branches and the initial password (inside the permanent pasword card) is restored or a new password card is given.
If connection to Internet Banking was blocked incorectly entering customer ID or PIN code, it can be restored by visiting Customer Service Branches and Sub-branches or calling to Call Centre.

If you are using Internet Explorer version 6.0:
Select “Tools” from the top menu
Select “Internet Options”
Select “Privacy” from the menu
The default setting is “Medium” (medium level). Select “Low”.
In case the customer forgets the password the use of DNB Internet Banking is deactivated and the initial password (inside the envelope with the agreement) is restored or a new password is granted upon arrival at the bank.
When you first signed the agreement only the accounts were ascribed to you. If you want to execute transactions with payment cards, authorisation must be provided in the bank. You should arrive at the branch or sub-branch of the bank and rewrite the agreement.
